The Cronk Forest/Timber Mill Company Locomotives

In my version of Thomas & Friends, Misty Island doesn't exist. Instead, a company located in Cronk Forest exists. The engines are based off of American designs, but were built to specifications related to British Railway designs at the Crovan's Gate Workshops specifically for the company. These engines are privately owned, and are painted in the dark blue of the company's colors. The exception to the four American engines is Stacy, who was built as an experimental engine from old parts found in a scrapyard on the Mainland.

For me, this easily explains how these four American engines can speak with British, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, etc. accents. It also explains how their prototypes have come about on Sodor! Of course stay tuned, for more of my established Thomas universe is beginning to come together! ~ Afro
