So in your series, Gordon is an official A3 Pacific instead of the two cylinderd type of engine he is portrayed in the books?

Yep, after all the Sudrian Chronicles is an alternate universe of Thomas & Friends, and the Railway Series. It made it easier on me to have his official LNER number, and also explain the two tenders. ;)

So, in another life, he was Gay Crusader then? And the second tender was a preservation only thing.

I'm sorry but what? (On that first one!), and yeah, I'll explain that when Gordon is introduced in the Sudrian Chronicles.

The Gresley A1's were mainly named after champion racehorses; 4477 was named after a racehorse named 'Gay Crusader': en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_Crus…

And on that aside, from what I remember from the official books, when Henry went to Crewe for his rebuild after his accident on the "Flying Kipper", he originally returned as more or less a modified LMS "Black Five" with a Stanier designed tender; but the Fat Controller later deemed that this was in fact 'too much tender' for the length of runs the NWR undertook, so exchanged the large Stanier tender for a smaller Fowler design tender.

Fair Points, but my universe has a bit of "different" rules to how the engines work and are designed.

I thought about giving the engines British Railway liveries since their line became part of British Railways in 1948. Like Thomas, Edward, Gordon, Donald and Douglas all BR Blue, Henry and Percy BR Brunswick Green, and James BR Maroon
